Colin Bridgerton was right. There was absolutely entrapment.

I cannot get over his entrapment comment. He simply failed to realize he had done all the entrapping. That man kicked the entrapment soccer ball into his own goal. He scored against himself.

A complete list of Colin Bridgerton entrapping Penelope Featherington:

• In Season 2, he pulls her into a room and shuts the door. Insane behavior but at this point at least he still has excuses. He’s “protecting her” from her sketchy uncle. We will let it slide.
• Then, in season three, he followed her out after the very first ball of the season and noted she needed a chaperone before asking her to go somewhere more private. She refused. Penelope is much stronger than I am. He realizes she won’t be entrapped so easily.
• Next day, he shows up at her HOME. Where she LIVES. Insists on shaking hands. She’s like this is kind of freaky. He’s like I know but shake my hand anyway. Colin Bridgerton is absolutely floored by hand shaking. Totally normal for a man who slept his way around the European continent.
• Now he’s forcing her to hang out with him all the time for “charm lessons.” At first, it’s in public. He is gathering intel for his entrapment scheme. She mentions she misses tea at Bridgerton House. Colin’s like “WE GOT HER, BOYS.”
